Cable & Wire Harness Manufacturing Company

April 2018 - The Independence Group (IG) has completed the sale of a Cable and Wire Harness Manufacturer. The buyer is the owner of a company in the same space who will expand operations with this acquisition. 

The Company's specialties are manufacturing of wire and cable harness assemblies and design/development of printed circuit boards.  Established for 30 years in California, it occupies a select niche with high quality, volume capability, low cost production and quick turnaround. It serves customers in consumer, automotive, industrial, process controls and communications sectors. 

"Our client, the seller had experienced a rough couple of years due to issues that forced his absence, so he  was very motivated," said Larry Willis, President of IG. "We were able to match him with an equally motivated buyer from our extensive buyer network. The timing was right for both parties and now the Company is primed for growth by joining forces with a seasoned operator in the industry." 

The IG team was headed by Joe Cavazos who worked closely with the seller. The sale process was completed in five months from start to finish, including the business value analysis, marketing, due diligence and escrow phases.
