The Independence Group (IG) announces the sale of its client, a Commercial HVAC Maintenance and Repair Company. The buyer is a firm that specializes in green building technologies. 

The Commercial HVAC Company has been in business for more than 30 years in Southern California. It provides HVAC sales, installation and preventative maintenance. It is well established with small chains, office facilities, medical centers and building owners. The Company's existing customers will now have access to an array of green building technologies.

 The buyer, Enovative Group, Inc., is a leading provider of comprehensive green building resource management systems and products based in Monterey Park, California. Through its subsidiaries, the company sells and installs water, natural gas and electricity conservation devices and systems. It is also a leading developer, innovator and first move adopter of cutting edge green building technologies.

"We have enjoyed a continuing relationship with our client and it is gratifying to complete this transaction for them," said Larry Willis, President of IG.  "They now have an excellent opportunity to enter the green building industry and offer their clients new services."  

"This was a classic case of strategic synergy.  Both buyer and seller were determined to close the deal by the end of 2017 to start off the year fresh," said Sam Bath, IG's consultant in Southern California who oversaw the deal process.  "It made the holidays a little more hectic for everyone but it was a great way to end the year."
